David graduated in 2000 from Middlesex University, North London with a BA Honours in Performing Arts.
Theatre credits include 'Sweeney Todd' (Sweeney Todd), 'A Chorus line' (Paul), 'Little Shop of Horrors' (Mr Mushnick), 'Assassins’ (Charles Guiteau), ‘Entertaining Mr Sloane’ (Mr Sloane), ‘Accidental Death of an Anarchist’ (Maniac) and 'Cabaret' (Clifford Bradshaw) all at the Simmonds Theatre, London. 'Aesop' (Animal) with the NYMT (Blackheath Concert Halls and George Square Theatre, Edinburgh), Woof in 'Hair' (Bull Theatre, London), Jack the Ripper in 'Blood on the Pavement' (Cockpit Theatre, London), King Pentheus in 'Licking the Stains Clean' (Union Chapel Studios, London) and Roger Lightfoot in 'Babes in the Wood' (Mercury Theatre, Colchester), Nicholas Mears in ‘Courtenay’ (Uk Tour) and Swing/Cover Pharaoh and Benjamin in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat’ ( New London Theatre, West End).
David spent a year sailing all over Europe and Scandinavia as lead vocalist with Festival Cruises. He then went onto sing for Centre Parcs at Oasis Whinfell Forest in Cumbria.
David has toured all over the world as the lead vocalist for Spirit Productions in ‘Broadway! A Starspangled Celebration’, ‘Spirit of the Dance’, ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Celebration Of The 60’s’, ‘The Spirit of Christmas’, ‘Hot Jersey Nights’, ‘Christmas On Ice’ and the award winning ‘Twelve Irish Tenors’.
For the past few years David has been resident Vocal Director and Lead Vocalist at The Palace Theatre, Myrtle Beach, USA. Whilst there he appeared as Seymour Krelborn in ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’, Smudge in ‘Forever Plaid’, Bob Cratchit in “A Christmas Carol’ and Man 2 in ‘I Love You, Your Perfect, Now Change!’ as well as being one half of The Incredible Irish Tenors in ‘The Magical Spirit of Ireland’ and Lead Vocalist on ‘Hooray for Hollywood’, ‘Rock Around The Clock’ and ‘Christmas on Ice’ and most recently ‘Christmas Wonderland’.
He also spent 2 years working in Las Vegas on “Spirit of the Dance”, “Broadway Celebration” and “Shades Of Temptations” at The New York, New York Casino and Resort, then moved over to Planet Hollywood with a brand new production of “David King’s Dancing Queen”
